This is your own piece of paradise, whether you're looking for honeymoon, adventure, or family holiday. The beach directly in front of the house is little-used, and the water is protected by a reef about a mile off-shore, making it ideal for swimming and boogie boarding. And the small town of Waimanalo is just far enough from the crowds of Waikiki and Honolulu to provide peace, privacy, quiet and tranquility.

Stepping out onto the master bedroom balcony, gazing into the ocean, the beach stretches for miles in each direction. The loudest sound is the gentle rolling of small waves on the sand. Ironwood and Palm trees dot the coastline. There are no buildings taller than two stories. On a clear day the islands of Molokai and Maui can be seen in the distance. The Ko'olau mountain pali (cliffs) tower more than 1,000 feet behind you.

And every morning begins with a spectacular sunrise over the ocean.


Waimanalo is located on Hawaii's main island, Oahu, a short drive over the mountains from Honolulu Airport.
It's close to the city but retains a small-town country feel.
A few locally owned lunch stops and grocery shops dot the highway.
None of the buildings are taller than two stories.
Big city nightlife in Waikiki is a short drive away, but Waimanalo is quiet every night.
Nearby Kailua also has a full range of restaurants, stores, services and nightspots.

The beachfront vacation rental sleeps up to 9.
The main house has three bedrooms (including a second-story master bedroom with magnificent ocean views),
two bathrooms (including a jacuzzi hot tub),
a large living room (with couches and another comfortable bed)
and a koa-floored dining room with beach views.
An unattached studio guest home provides a private, large 4th bedroom with its own queen sized bed and shower.
There's a large grass front lawn on the street side of the house.
And the home features a hot outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after hitting the beach.
Facilities also include built-in barbeque pits,
TV with digital cable & HBO, telephone (free to anywhere on the island), washing machine, dryer,
fully equipped kitchen, all linen and towels.

Off-peak (Jan. 6 to May 15, Sept. 16 to Dec. 14): $600 per night
Summer peak season (May 16 to Sept. 15): $650 per night
Holiday peak season (Dec. 15 to Jan. 5): $700 per night
